CF 2013 “Fraternidade e Juventude” O protagonismo dos jovens na Igreja e na Sociedade

Resumen

Resumo: A CF-2013 integra o conjunto dos esforços da Igreja para evangelizar a
juventude. A maneira de ser jovem tem evoluído historicamente desde o começa
da sociedade industrial, caracterizada especialmente por fatores econômicos.
Nesse contexto, o/a jovem é entendido em seus estágios de formação e de passagem
da dependência familiar para a autonomia e inserção social. A presente
mudança de época na qual vivemos, distancia-se dos paradigmas tradicionais
de compreensão da juventude, especialmente por causa das novas tecnologias,
da ciência e da cultura mediática. O jovem vem tornando-se muito vulnerável a
todo tipo de influências culturais, econômicas, morais e religiosas. Essa situação,
junto com as desigualdades sociais, desafia a ação evangelizadora da Igreja
em relação aos jovens. A evangelização deve ser capaz de guiar o jovem em
sua busca de sentido. Somente dessa maneira o jovem será confirmado em
seu papel de protagonista na Igreja e na Sociedade.

Abstract: The 2013 Fraternity Campaign integrates the whole of the efforts of the
Church in order to evangelize the youth. The way of being young is developed
historically since the starting of the industrial society, characterized mainly by
economical factors. In this context, the young man/woman is understood in his/her
stages of formation and of passage from the familiar dependency to the social
autonomy and insertion. The present epochal change in which we all live, cuts
from the traditional paradigms of understanding the youth, especially because
of the new technologies, the science and the mediatic culture. The young become
highly vulnerable to every type of cultural, economic, moral and religious
influences. This situation, together with the social inequalities, challenges the
evangelizing action of the Church in regard to the young. The evangelization
must be capable of guiding the young in searching of sense. Only in this way the
young man/woman is confirmed as a protagonist in Church and Society.
