Resumo

Resumo: No intuito de contribuir na reflexão sobre o tema da Campanha da
Fraternidade 2015, o autor se reporta à missão profética exercida em diferentes
contextos da história de Israel, conforme testemunha a Bíblia. Assim como os
profetas e profetisas vocacionais, a Igreja é chamada a inserir-se no mundo
em radical solidariedade às pessoas que sofrem vítimas de sistemas que excluem
e matam. Como seguidora de Jesus de Nazaré e acolhendo o apelo do
papa Francisco, a Igreja deve colocar-se em atitude de “saída”, renunciando
à acomodação institucional e assumindo sua missão de promover a justiça, a
solidariedade e a fraternidade no mundo.

Abstract: In an attempt to delve into the theme of the Campanha da Fraternidade
of 2015, the author brings into relation the prophetic mission exercised by the
ministers called to be of service to the Chosen people in different circumstances
in the course of the history of Israel, as can be attested in the Bible. Similar to
the prophets and prophetesses the Church is called to get involved in the world
through its unrelenting solidarity with the people suffering as victims of political
systems which ostracize and lead to death. Bu the Church as follower of Jesus
of Nazareth and accepting the appeal of Pope Francis will have to relinquish
institutional accommodation and instead should engage in its mission to promote
justice, solidarity and fraternity all around the world.
