FACASC – dois anos: Algumas notas reflexivas sobre a Faculdade Católica de Santa Catarina

Abstract

Resumo: Após uma justificativa do seu artigo, o autor faz breve retrospectiva
dos 40 anos do Instituto Teológico, ITESC, especialmente dos dez anos de
processo para se conseguir seu credenciamento pelo MEC e sua transformação
em Faculdade Católica de Santa Catarina, FACASC, no final de 2011 e começo
de 2012. Comenta certos desafios da situação atual e propõe “possíveis ações”,
augurando que elas, e/ou outras, se tornem realidade.

Abstract: After some words justifying his article the author presents a retrospective
view of the 40 years of existence of the Theological Institute, ITESC. Special attention
is drawn to the last ten tears involving the process within the administrative
and academic area in order to obtain the credentials for an official governmental
recognition of the theological institution by the Ministry of Education, MEC, and its
transformation into the Catholic School of Theology of Santa Catarina, FACSC,
at the end of 2011 and beginning of 2012. He makes some comments on the
challenges of the situation of today and proposes “possible initiatives” in a hopeful
wish that these and others as well may soon become reality.
