Abstract

Este estudo oferece uma análise envolvente do Salmo 126, um dos "Cânticos de Peregrinação" presentes na Bíblia Hebraica. Apesar de sua brevidade, o poema é profundamente significativo, entrelaçando o passado e o presente do povo de Israel em uma narrativa que destaca a ação divina. Ele evoca, no passado, a alegria e o assombro da restauração pós-exílica, marcada por sonhos realizados, risos e júbilo. Já no presente, revela uma súplica sincera por renovação e prosperidade, simbolizada pelas torrentes do Negueb, em meio aos desafios da vida. A pesquisa explora os aspectos linguísticos, como a originalidade de certos termos hebraicos, e os teológicos, examinando a conexão entre a fé monoteísta e a reinterpretação da história. O Salmo 126 destaca-se como uma obra única que combina lirismo e espiritualidade, transmitindo uma mensagem universal de esperança e perseverança. Com isso, o estudo busca aprofundar a compreensão deste poema enquanto testemunho de fé e expressão literária que resiste ao tempo.

Author Biography

José Ancelmo Santos Dantas, PUC-SP

He is a Priest of the Diocese of Santo Amaro, with training: Bachelor of Philosophy from the Maria Mater Ecclesiae Institute (2009); Bachelor of Theology from the Faculty of Philosophy and Theology Paulo VI (2015), Postgraduate in Sacred Scripture from the Faculty Claretiano – Centro Universitário (2017), Master of Theology from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo – PUC (2020) with the defense thesis: “Moses as one who does not know how to speak - An exegetical study of Ex 4,10-17; 6,10-12,29-30 and the presence of this theme in the Gospels”. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in Exegesis and Biblical Theology at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo – PUC with the title: "Sweeter than honey", an exegetical study of Psalm 19, expected to be completed in 2024. Pastorally, he is Vicar Forâneo from the pastoral sector of Santo Amaro, Member of the Economic Council and Member of the Diocesan Administrative Council with the Diocese of Santo Amaro.

He is currently Director of the Theology Course at the São Bonaventure Institute and professor of the History of Israel and Theology of the Pentateuch, Psalms, Acts of the Apostles, Synoptics, Pauline Letters, Revelation, Prophets and Introduction to the Holy Scriptures. He taught the Disciplines Sacred Scriptures I, Sacred Scriptures II, Sacred Scriptures III and Sacred Scriptures IV in the Theology Course at Centro Universitário Ítalo Brasileiro, and worked as a professor hired on an emergency basis at the Pontifical Catholic University, PUC-SP, teaching the History subject of Israel. He was Vocations promoter of the Diocese of Santo Amaro from 2015 to 2020 and organizer of the Vocations Fair Event from 2013 to 2020. He participated as co-host of the program Páginas Difíceis da Biblia aired by Rede Vida de Televisão, and acted as a commentator alongside to the program “São Jerônimo Biblical Reflection Group” shown on the YouTube channel. Author of several written technical productions and the articles Biblical Inspiration: a biblical, theological and pastoral look, Relationship between Exegesis and Exegete, Creation is poetic and ecotheological - a brief exercise in the light of the texts of (Gn 1,1-2; Gn 2,4-6), Nature is called (Psalm 29) [in press] and co-author of the articles Moses as uncircumcised of lips (Ex 6,12.20) and Moses and the disciples of Jesus do not speak for themselves (Ex 4,12 ; Mc 13,11; Mt 10,19; Lc 12,12; Jn 14,26); Birds in the psalms: elements for an eco-spirituality; Tyrants don't talk! A study on interreligious dialogue in light of the Fraternity Campaign 2021 and the Kindness of God in the temple and in nature: Green reading of Psalm 65.
