ano, a Segurança Pública. Partindo do texto-base, desenvolve o tema segundo
a qual, segundo Isaías, é “fruto da justiça” (Is 32,17).
Abstract: Initially, some preliminary considerations are being dealt with so as
to emphasize the motives of CF 2009 about Public Safety in connection with
the social aspect of Christian faith. Starting with the basic text, which is eager to
apply the three-pronged pastoral method as regards to “see, judge, and act”. In
respect to “see” the object focused upon and which receives special attention is
the phenomenon of fear in society, giving rise to a branch of industry whereby
sophisticated countermeasures of safety are supplied to the interested customers.
As regards to “judge” in the light of the truths revealed in the Gospel, followed by
an incentive to “act”, there are listed a series of proposals for a fruitful endeavor to
further a culture of peace, which Isaiah defines as “fruit of justice” (Is 32:17).
